The Delta State Government,through the Ministry of Transport has observed with utter dismay the unruly activities of various Taskforces in charge enforcement of sales of stickers and emblems across the State.
A statement from the office of the Hon Commissioner for Transport Mr Onoriode Agofure indicates that all forms of Stickers and Emblems enforcement, in any guise are suspended, with immediate effect.
The Statement adds that although the enforcement exercise has been suspended for the time being, the sales of Stickers and Emblems are not suspended,as sales are on going at different sales outlets .Those concerned are advised to visit authorized sales outlets and sales Agents, that are close to them.
In line with the above directive,any individual or group caught in the act of enforcement,on our roads,concerning the sales of Stickers and Emblems will be prosecuted accordingly.
