Heavy Downpour Causes Widespread Flooding in Asaba, Delta State Capital

A torrential downpour has triggered severe flooding across major areas of Asaba, the Delta State capital. Key affected locations include Ibusa Road (before Koka Junction), the Holy Trinity area, Umuagu axis, ShopRite vicinity, and the Bonsac axis. Residents were seen desperately bailing floodwater from their homes and shops to protect property. Shop owners reported that despite concrete barricades, floodwaters infiltrated their premises, forcing them to manually remove water and prevent goods from being destroyed.
